Hi guys!! I am back with another blog "Electromagnetism". It may sound like an old stuff but in the coming few minutes I will make your opinion change about Electromagnetism and you will think about it from a completely different angle.

Electromagnetism :The Birth Of A Star
The birth of a star is one of the coolest phenomena in the universe. Three forces play a major role in star formation. They are:- Electromagnetism, centripetal force,
"The one above all" -Gravity
The universe is full of Clouds, its main constituent is Hydrogen, when very enormous chunks of these clouds come very near to each other in a Nebula, these chunks collapse due to their own Gravity and fuse into a glowing star but gravity can't alone counter the centripetal force which is generated by the scattered hydrogen clouds revolving around the big chunks of hydrogen clouds located in the centre of the Nebula. Here comes another force into action "the electromagnetism "as the scattered hydrogen cloud revolve around the concentrated enormous chunks of hydrogen cloud into the Nebula's centre, the particles of revolving hydrogen clouds get charged up and thus develop a magnetic field this Magnetic field is enormously strong which decelerate the speed of the revolving clouds and reduce the centripetal force, Now Gravity starts to win the battle. It collapses the scattered revolving clouds into the centre of the Nebula thus fusing them into a star.
2. Electromagnetism : The Barrier
Apart from contributing to star formation Electromagnetism also acts as a barrier in star formation. Our galaxy "The Milkyway" is surrounded by enormously huge magnetic fields, these magnetic fields terminate the entry of intergalactic clouds of hydrogen into our galaxy, and as we know without hydrogen clouds stars formation can't take place. This is the reason why 100 billion stars are missing from the night sky!!
3. Coronal Mass Ejection
CMEs are one of the most devastating effects of electromagnetism. CMEs are the powerful bursts of charged particles produced due to the splitting of magnetic fields from the surface of our sun or any star in the universe. Our sun has an enormous magnetic field. Sun's equator spins faster than its poles thus this minute difference in spinning speed of poles and equator of the sun result in the twisting of magnetic field lines of the sun creating disastrous CMEs. These CMEs can even destroy life on earth. To know how (?) Wait for the next blog.
4. The Cataclysmic Pole Shift Hypothesis
You would be definitely knowing that our earth also has a magnetic field which protects Our earth from the killer solar flares of the sun. The centre of the magnetic field of Earth is at its boiling iron core. Our Magnetic field not only protects us from Sun's magnetic field but also from some kind of Gamma-Ray Bursts, and Cosmic Rays. But it seems that Earth is losing its magnetic protection. Over years the Magnetic field has weakened by at least 10%.
But now scientists have proposed that decreasing and increasing of magnetic field lines is a rhythmic phenomenon. Means that no dip or peak in earth's magnetic field is permanent, it can recover the lost magnetic field in the coming time it may happen today or tomorrow or even after a million year!! Earth apart from doing changes in the magnetic field line also totally flip the poles . The south pole becomes north pole and the north pole becomes south pole . This process is called The cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis. Scientists think this process might be quick. The flipping may happen anytime, there is no way to calculate the exact time. Whenever the date would be but the process should happen quickly enough to avoid any mass extinction event, as scientists have not found any mass extinction event near to a pole flipping event.
